Boston Space Network is a non-profit organization* founded in 2022 by a group of people passionate about growing the space ecosystem in Boston. We are run by a voluntary team with diverse connections to the space industry.

Caitlin is a Co-Lead of BSN. She currently works at Draper as a Senior System Concepts Engineer and previously worked at Blue Origin as the New Glenn Battery Responsible Engineer. She has her Masters in Systems Engineering from Cornell University and her BS Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

Anthony is a Co-Founder and Co-Lead of BSN. He is currently a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and formerly an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine. He has a Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical & Space from the University of Queensland.

Jackson is Head of Partnerships at BSN. He is currently the Senior Associate at Aurelia Foundry, an early stage space and deep tech venture fund. He has a BA from George Washington University.

George is our inaugural editor for the Boston Space Column, and a Co-Lead of BSN. He grew up in Greenbelt, Maryland, and stayed in the USA until age 30. Then he lived in Fukuoka, Japan, for 32 years (1992-2024), teaching space engineering at two universities. He retired from work, and came to Boston in 2024. He loves Boston!

Harshini is the Head of Community at HBS for BSN. She is a second-year student at Harvard Business School and previously worked at Boeing as a Satellite Systems Engineer. She has her Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Alyssa is a former Co-Founder of BSN. She is a Vice President at AE Industrial and previously worked at McKinsey & Company where she led the firm’s Global Space Center of Excellence. She has years of experience in international security, having worked at the Council on Foreign Relations, the United Nations, CSIS’s Aerospace Security Project and the Strauss Center’s Space Program.

Simon is a former Co-Founder of BSN. He is the Founder and CEO of a next-gen energy startup. He previously served as Head of Product at Exowatt, a renewable energy startup. Before moving into the energy sector, Simon spent years designing, building, testing, and selling rockets and rocket engines at United Launch Alliance, Blue Origin, and Ursa Major.

James is a former Co-Lead of BSN. He graduated from Harvard Business School in May of 2026 and returned to DC, where he is starting a family and consulting in the space industry.
